That is really weird! I have just started blogging. I am also a doctor (surgeon) in the UK. Curiously, and for quite unrelated reasons, my first post was called “Stop stealing sheep”. I just stumbled across your blog today!

Welcome to blogging. I think you will enjoy it. Like you I think it is a good way to keep diary, even if noone else reads it!
It depends on the individuals involved; I know people who have maintained the relationship, and others who didn’t. You have to assess yourself and the relationship to know.
